Profile
I have been making and taking care of gardens since my early 20’s. I originally trained as a professional gardener at Capel Manor in 1996, and began my horticultural career in North London. I refined and developed my design skills, completing a degree in Garden Design at Hadlow College in 2008, subsequently focussing on the design of larger country gardens.

My Approach
The Design Process is strongly informed by my 25 years of experience of renovating and developing gardens, working to improve the soil and creating the best possible environment for plants, people and wildlife to flourish.

The design of the garden is developed in response to the client brief and the landscape within which the garden sits.
Planting style is generally naturalistic, though I do love a glamorous hardy exotic garden, or a bold formal garden too.
I like to work with the ebb and flow of the seasons, to use planting and hard landscaping to create dynamic spaces that are of use and interest throughout the year.
