Project Brief: A south facing roof terrace with a quirky, informal entertaining space, twinkling lights, sculptural forms and bold foliage plants in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Planting: Drought tolerant container planting to divide the space into an informal dining area and hot sunny outdoor room. Bays and Trachycarpus give the space structure, and yucca, Euphorbias, succulents and grasses provide texture throughout the year. A warm orange and deep red colour palette works well in the bright sunlight.
Materials: Patinated and galvanised steel.
